The Junction Inn is a Grade 2 listed building dating from the mid 1860's, and is one of the few pubs to feature on the 19th Century Drinking Map of Southampton, held in the archive department of Southampton City Library.
We are conveniently located, 10 minutes drive to both the M3 and M27 Motorways, also less then 2 minutes walking time from the main line St Denys railway station which makes us a popular watering hole for those supporters, home and away walking to Southampton FC's, St Marys football ground as we are only a 20 minute walk with the added benefit of free roadside parking.
Set in the St Denys suburb of Southampton we lay between the River Itchen, which is only fifty yards to our front and is easily accessible to the many local sailors via the Priory Road Public hard, behind us is the main Southampton to London Waterloo railway line.
The building itself still retains many of its original architectural features, including the beautiful period fire place set behind the "Snake-Pit" bar serving area as well as the “eyelid windows” and hand crafted wooden back-bar areas.
